University of Monterrey (UDEM) Exchange Program

The UDEM Exchange Program allows normal academic program toward UNT degrees while studying on the campus of the University of Monterrey.

Students pay tuition/fees at UNT and room/board and other normal expenses at the Mexican university. UNT students in Mexico will enroll in courses as regular students and are responsible for all coursework and examinations. Students live in university accommodations, apartments or family housing and participate fully in the life of the Mexican campus. Participating students may enjoy several periods of travel during holiday periods.

Selection Procedures

Interested students must complete an Exchange Program application, provide a personal statement, two letters of recommendation, provide official transcripts, and be interviewed by an International Exchange Review committee.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 60 or more credit hours
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA

Financial Aid

All normal financial aid (except Work Study) applies. Consult Financial Aid Office for details. Students not currently receiving regular financial aid should not expect it for this program, but the International Education Fee Scholarships will be available for exchange program participants.
