The Institute of International Education is pleased to announce Summer, Fall and Academic Year Freeman-ASIA Awards. The Freeman-ASIA Award Program was launched in 2000 with the generous support of the Freeman Foundation in order to give more American undergraduate students the financial means to study in Asia.
The primary goal of the Freeman-ASIA Award Program is to increase the number of American undergraduates who study in East and Southeast Asia, by providing them with the information and financial assistance they will need. Awardees are expected to share their experiences with their home campuses to encourage study abroad in Asia by others, and to spread greater understanding of Asian peoples and cultures within their home communities.
For more information, full eligibility criteria, and the online application please access the Freeman-ASIA Program website at www.iie.org/freeman-ASIA.
Please feel free to contact the Freeman-ASIA Program office with any comments or inquiries.
