Academic areas to which students apply for admission to doctoral or master’s degree programs submit nominations for Doctoral Fellowships, Master’s Fellowships, or Tuition Scholarships to the academic schools and colleges. After the schools and colleges determine the awardees, the awardees’ names are submitted to the Graduate School, which will determine that the awardees meet the criteria for the award. The Graduate School then notifies recipients that they have been awarded a Doctoral Fellowship, Master’s Fellowship, or Tuition Scholarship.
