Texas Transfer Scholarships

Purpose of Scholarship

Scholarship program to support transferring students from any Texas community college to UNT.

Applicable Field(s) of Study

Any academic program offered by UNT.

Eligibility

The University awards scholarships to students who have completed 45hours in a Texas Junior College, Texas Community College, or TexasUniversity and maintain a 3.5 GPA.

Description of Award

$1000. There are a limited number of scholarships and they are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Deadline Information

No set deadline, but scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Apply no later than November for Fall admissions.

Application Process

No application is necessary. All eligible students are identified through their completed Admissions file. Please ensure all transcripts are updated in Admissions as soon as possible.
