I have BA and MA degrees in English from Texas A&M University.
I began working in international education in the TAMU Study Abroad Program Office in 1987 (the year I started my Master's program). I had several positions there, and learned everything I know from my first mentor, Mona Rizk-Finne. I was hired to come to UNT as Director of the Study Abroad Center in 1996, where I worked for and with the amazing Tom Hoemeke and David Keitges.
I am passionate about international education! I also enjoy reading, my Maltese dogs, the beach, knitting, and silence.
