External Scholarships are offered and recipients selected by foundations, organizations or agencies outside the University of North Texas. The University of North Texas is not responsible for establishing criteria or participating in the selection or notification of external scholarship recipients.

• Never pay for a scholarship search!
• UNT students who receive a scholarship from an outside agency must notify the UNT Student Financial Aid and Scholarships to have the scholarship posted to a student account. Students must also request that outside agencies mail UNT student scholarship checks to:
