How much does it cost? (top)
Tuition for one 8-week term is $1950 or approximately $245 a week. Detailed cost information can be found on the IELI website.
What are the term dates? (top)
The IELI operates with five 8-week terms beginning in August, October, January, March and June.
What are the application deadlines? (top)
Two months prior to the beginning of each term. (Certain countries excepted. See the IELI academic calendar.)
Do I need the TOEFL test? (top)
TOEFL is waived for UNT admission if a student graduates from the Intensive English Language Institute.
Is dual admission to UNT possible with admission to Intensive English study? (top)
Yes; if a student meets UNT's admission requirements, he or she may enroll in the IELI before enrolling in UNT classes.
Does IELI have a language lab? (top)
Yes! The IELI lab is state-of-the-art.
