News from UNT International

For the Fall 2008 (August) semester, International Admissions DOES NOT accept any more applications from overseas for Undergraduate, Graduate and IELI programs. We are accepting application for Spring (January) from all Undergraduate and Graduate applicants.

For applicants already in the United States, the true last day to apply is below. Applicants MUST provide complete application package, including and not limited to original academic transcripts from ALL colleges attended, official TOEFL score, financial documents, and Transfer Clearance Form (for F-1 visa holder).

• Undergraduate – August 8
• Graduate – August 8
• IELI program – August 15
• New student arrival deadline – Sunday, August 17
• UNT student course registration – Monday, August 18
• IELI student course registration – Tuesday, August 19
• Classes begin – Monday, August 25

During a recent trip to Washington D.C., UNT President Dr. Gretchen Bataille, and UNT Vice Provost and Associate Vice President for International Education Dr. Earl Gibbons met with UNT alumnus His Excellency, Adel A. Al-Jubeir, Saudi Arabian Ambassador to the United States.

During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of partnering with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to provide UNT students and faculty with opportunities to learn more about Arab culture.
