"My teachers always help students to solve their problems. They also reply to our questions clearly and are zealous," says Jui-Yi Chen from Taiwan.
Lee Shu-Hua came from Taiwan. She says, "It is very hard for me to write compositions because I have never written any composition in my country. I always translate Chinese to English when I write a composition. It always makes my teacher confused, so I am very frustrated. Fortunately my writing teacher pays lots of attention to the students. She knows many Asian people are very shy, so she assists me when I have problems. She has lots of patience. She teaches me again and again until I can understand. Foreign students can improve their English very much with patient teachers. IELI is a good place to study English because it has outstanding teachers."
"There are many language schools in the U.S. I heard that IELI at UNT is good, so I decided on coming for my language school here. The IELI has good teachers. I think my pronunciation is bad, but they listen to my words patiently, so I have become comfortable, and I can trust them. Also they are kind. They say "Good morning" first. In my country, usually students say that first. In addition, the teachers are logical. When I didn't understand their teaching in the class, they explained it to me. At that time, I thought their brains must be like computers. I like IELI. In particular, I like its teachers," says Young Ran (Sylvia) Ko from Korea.
