Making Payment

After completing and submitting the application form, arrange for the payment of mandatory non-refundable fees. The paid application fee is good for one year. After payment is received, expect to receive an email notification within 3 to 5 business days.

UNT or IELI update (First update is free. Thereafter, the update fee applies for each new update within the year) $25

For faster processing...

Please provide the following information about the APPLICANT when making payment:

  • Full name (first name and last name) as written on the application form and passport.
  • Date of birth in month/day/year format (as in identifying information)
  • 8-digit student identification number (E.g. 1061XXXX)
  • Email address

Choose ONE of the following payment options

  1. Credit Card - Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Send the following information by fax (940-565-4822). Write "Application Fee Payment" on the subject line.
    • Full name of the card holder
    • 16-digit credit card number
    • 4-digit credit card expiration date (month/year)
    • State the payment amount (see fees chart above)
    If you intend to pay by credit card, you MUST send this information by fax to the number provided above. Do not send any of this information to us via email; we CANNOT accept credit card payments via email.
  2. Personal check withdrawn from a U.S. bank. Make check payable to "University of North Texas". See mailing address below.
  3. International money order, or postal money order in the U.S. currency. Make it payable to "University of North Texas". See mailing address below.
  4. Cashier's check, or bank draft drawn on a U.S. bank purchased in the U.S. dollar currency. Make bank draft payable to "University of North Texas;" mail to P.O. Box 311067, Denton, TX 76203-1067, United States of America.
  5. Do NOT mail cash.
