University of North Texas Delegation Visits Universities in Korea

A 10-member delegation of the University of North Texas led by Provost Wendy K. Wilkins visited nine universities and institutions in Korea from October 5th to 9th.
Delegation members visited KAIST (Daejeon and Seoul campuses), Yonsei University, Ewha University, Konkuk University, Hanyang University, Kyungpook National University, Keimyung University and the Global Campus at Incheon Free Economic Zone to discuss and promote joint research and student and faculty exchange between UNT and universities in Korea.
In addition to visiting area universities, Provost Wilkins hosted a reception for UNT alumni living in Korea. The event brought together UNT alumni, faculty and administrators and provided an opportunity for networking and the planning of future events.
In addition to Provost Wilkins, the delegation included Dr. Earl Gibbons, Vice Provost & Associate VP for International Education; Dr. Michael Monticino, Dean of Toulouse School of Graduate Studies; Dr. James Scott, Dean of College of Music; Dr. Christy Crutsinger, Professor and Associate Dean of School of Merchandising and Hospitality Management; Dr. Raj Banerjee, Associate Professor, College of Engineering; Dr. Chang E. Koh, Associate Professor, College of Business; Ms. Eva Bowman, Director of Intensive English Language Institute; Mr. Harold Strong, Director of Discovery Park and Technology Transfer; and Ms. Yunju Langran, International Education Advisor.
